Immoweb acquires Realo
Brussels, January 23, 2024 - Immoweb, Belgium's largest online real estate site and a subsidiary of the AVIV group, announces today the acquisition of Realo, also a player in the Proptech field. This strategic acquisition combines Immoweb's leading position with Realo's powerful real estate data platform, thereby offering a more comprehensive value proposition.
Realo is a scale-up founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs Lorenz Bogaert, Toon Coppens, Nicolas Van Eenaeme, and Vincent Verlee, all four also founders of the startup studio StarApps. Realo specializes in data analysis and the production of detailed property and neighborhood estimate reports.

How will Realo's integration proceed?
Realo joins the AVIV group's portfolio, which already includes some of the most well-known real estate websites such as SeLoger and MeilleursAgents in France, Immowelt in Germany, Yad2 in Israel, and Immoweb in Belgium, together totaling over 2000 employees.
For now, Immoweb will continue to serve all Realo and Immoweb clients with their usual products and services. Regarding the future, the company plans to create new products, demonstrating Immoweb's ongoing commitment to remaining at the forefront of innovation in the real estate sector. Stakeholders will be informed about the project's progress.
